Game of Frogs and Echo Foxtrot of Arteasy have been awarded a Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) Grant! Come kick-off our planning grant where we will be taking the beloved frog statues you know and love and making them.... GIGANTIC!
Get ready to paint and play your part in the new phase of this citywide art adventure! In this family-friendly workshop, we’re teaming up with @gameoffrogs—a beloved Baltimore-based public art project featuring hundreds of hidden concrete frogs—to bring you a fun, hands-on afternoon of creativity.
Each participant will receive one mini frog to paint and take home with the purchase of one ticket. Additional mini frogs are available for purchase for $10 each.
We will have plenty of extras on hand if you'd like to paint more and contribute your creations to the citywide frog hunt. All supplies are included—just bring your best frog-painting energy!
Join us for a fun afternoon of art, laughs, and local love. We'll explain next steps for the grant, which include accessibility discussions with a focus group from National Federation of the Blind (NFB) and identifying where our giant frog friend(s) may find their homes on our own amphibious peninsula.
This event is open to families. If you are coming as a parent, please also purchase a ticket for yourself, and you can also paint your frog or paint frogs together. No children under the age of 12 left unsupervised by an adult.
